This is the second couple in the last month I've have had the opportunity to capture that have a few decades of marriage under their belts. John & Barb have figured a few things out when it comes to a long lasting relationship. It's interesting as we usually meet people as they are starting out their marriage, it's always great to see couples still going strong many years later.
'Chocolate-head-super-hero-to-the-rescue' she says with her big blue eyes round & serious, her red cape lifting slightly with the breeze. I hide my impulse to laugh out loud & smile back at her and with equal seriousness say 'of course you are'.
Our Ella at 3-and-a-half wants to be a superhero when she grows up.
Another great couple. These 2 arrived for the shoot 25 min. late, a little stressed out, and a lot nervous about having their photos taken. They quickly got into the spirit & in no time were laughing, joking & I even caught some snuggling :)
This is a fun portrait session with a lovely lady from Dallas I photographed last week. It's a surprise gift for her father (who lives here in Calgary) & I think he'll be very happy to have these great smiles around when she return back home next week.
