Marcia's Marvellous Belly

Marcia is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met both on the outside & on the inside. She is generous, thoughtful, supportive, funny, direct & considerate. Being an artist, she is also incredibly creative & stylish. We have know each other for more than 15 years & the only thing missing from her & Brandon's happy life for the last few years has been a baby. After several years of trying Marc & Brandon had begun the adoption process & before long - Marc was expecting. She is due in 5 short weeks & I couldn't be more excited for them both. The final element will be in place in their happy lives & I can't wait to see them in the new role of parents.
Brandon & Marc's place has many cool elements that were super fun to incorporate into the shoot. I also got to play with my new Totally Rad Actions - love the results.

Baille's Big Belly

Baillie is a beautiful girl with a very big beautiful belly. Baille & Chris are expecting a little boy (their 1st baby) in a few weeks & she is ready. The rooms all prepared, daddy's got time off work & mom is ready to get this little guy out to meet him. Good luck guys - can't wait to see him when he arrives!
p.s. Update - little Grayson arrived before these photos were posted - congrats Baille & Chris - I look forward to capturing the little guy when we return from Mexico!

Shannon's seriously Beautiful Belly

One of my daughter Molly's favorite expressions is "Seriously?" (Heavy on the sarcasm). As in "Is that all the ice cream you're giving me mummy? Seriously - I'm 7 - I can eat more than that". That's exactly what I was thinking when I arrived to shoot Shannon's beautiful belly. As in "Can you seriously look this gorgeous & be pregnant? Seriously?" Shannon & Mike are 2 amazing friends of ours & simply incredible to photograph. When they let us know they were expecting their first I couldn't wait to capture Shannon looking supe cute with her belly. If these guys look familiar it's because we shot their wedding in 2007;



I am so excited for them to move onto the parenting stage & know the obvious love they have for each other will only grow deeper as share it with the little person they've created.

Gorgeous Gorgenyi's

It was an overcast rainy afternoon when I met Dave & Kim for round 2 of the prego belly shots & little Ava was in no mood to be photographed. I first started shooting this family before Ava was born & now she's already 2.5 & they're expecting another little girl next month! The Gorgenyi's are close friends of ours & the sweetest people I know. Ava slowly warmed up a bit as the shoot progressed & the giant lollypop definitely got some smiles. My favorite shot of the day though is at the coffee shop where Kim took me out for lunch after the shoot (see what I mean? super sweet!) when Ava is relaxed & happy & a stunning vision in her little yellow dress against the yellow painting in the background. I can't wait until the new little sister arrives & I get to capture this amazing family all over again.
