Shannon's seriously Beautiful Belly

One of my daughter Molly's favorite expressions is "Seriously?" (Heavy on the sarcasm). As in "Is that all the ice cream you're giving me mummy? Seriously - I'm 7 - I can eat more than that". That's exactly what I was thinking when I arrived to shoot Shannon's beautiful belly. As in "Can you seriously look this gorgeous & be pregnant? Seriously?" Shannon & Mike are 2 amazing friends of ours & simply incredible to photograph. When they let us know they were expecting their first I couldn't wait to capture Shannon looking supe cute with her belly. If these guys look familiar it's because we shot their wedding in 2007;



I am so excited for them to move onto the parenting stage & know the obvious love they have for each other will only grow deeper as share it with the little person they've created.

Beautiful Brooklyn

I think the f8 families have the cutest kids EVER! No, it doesn't make me want to have more kids (2 is plenty - thank-you) but it does make me love my job. Once again a wonderful couple who were married last year (Niki & Corey's monsoon wedding) have had a baby this year. Niki & Corey are 2 of the sweetest people I have had the pleasure of photographing & their daughter Brooklyn is no different. She alternated between smiles, dozing & a few cranky outbursts but overall absolutely adorable. Here's why I love these guy;

Littlest Louie

Following the trend of having a baby in 2009 from our 2008 weddings Justin & Mel are the latestest couple to have a new little one. It has been wonderful to get to know Mel & Justin & through....

He was 1 month old when I photographed him & still very newborn like, which was great as he was pretty good about being moved around & having his outfits changed. But hands down his favorite spot was either snuggled up with mom and/or dad & then he was content. I have loved sharing all your exciting milestones this past 1.5 years guys, but even more, I've enjoyed watching your love grow with your family.

Andrea & James Wedding

Andrea & James were married on a blistering hot day out at the beautiful Kananaskis village. Andrea had always had a vision of how she would look on her wedding day and dreamed of taking photos lying in a field of wildflowers with her husband. We scouted out a lovely field of flowers and created some amazing images with Andrea and James, and continued to shoot between the beauty of the mountains and the village itself. Although the heat was almost unbearable both Andrea & James were determined to have their day run smoothly and to have a great time with family and friends, which they certainly did! Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your fantastic day, we had a blast and are so excited for you to see these shots. Enjoy!
