Marilee & Reagan e-session

I had the pleasure of shooting Reagan and Marilee down in the Kensington area a couple of days ago, I even managed to get a couple of shots at the coffee shop where they first met. These guys were great to work with and although they were both a little shy at first, it was obvious that they really love each other and I think these pictures show that love beautifully! Angel Christina & Angel Ashling

Christina Parker did not want anything traditional for her pregnancy photos so she came up with an idea. It involved 6 foot wide wings & a matching 4 foot pair for her 6 year old daughter, some gauzy material & lots of black velvet. Love it! It was a fun and unique shoot & just amazing to work with 2 beautiful girls who knew just how to work it.
(We shot this digitally & also with b&w film. Here's the first batch, I'll post the 2nd half (shot with film) in a few weeks.)

Abby & Eden

Two sisters - 6months & 2 years old. So much fun. I enjoyed hanging out with these 2 gorgeous girls yesterday & capturing them being themselves & hanging out with mommy. Despite a little bit of the "I'm 2" & being cranky, Eden is an adorable little girl, curious about everything & her easy going sister just loves watching big sister get into everything....& willing to fight to share when it came to the lollipop!

But big sister wins in the end :0

Eamon & Jennifer e-session

Hooray! It's stopped raining and the sun is finally showing itself again. Eamon and Jen took the day off to celebrate Eamon's birthday and also to meet up with me (matt) for a wicked fun e-session! You guy's were so great to work with and I'm so excited for you to see what we captured. ok, you can look at them..................now!

Niki & Cory's Monsoon Wedding!!

Hi everyone Matt here,
We had been looking forward to shooting Niki & Corey's wedding for months and finally the big day arrived....with more rain than I have ever seen in Calgary, but, as we kept saying to this great couple, this is your day so lets just work with it!
Niki and Corey, you and your whole wedding party were simply awesome, we know that we really took you all out of your comfort zone (and ours) but no one hesitated at any of our requests. We are thrilled with the images we captured in just a short amount of time (and did I mention the mega rain storm!) Here is a taste of your wet and wonderful day. Cheers!

Barbara & Nathan e-session

When Barbara & Nathan hired us to shoot their wedding we knew we were going have to do something pretty special. They also work in the wedding industry doing videography & dabble in the photography side as well. Nathan had a few interesting ideas for the e-session which with some bribery of a pint of Guiness & a meal at the James Joyce matt & I were up to the challenge. We loved shooting you guys last night, thanks for trusting us & being willing to get dirty for the sake of some pretty amazing shots.
